In December 2007 I was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma, I was on treatment for nearly 2 and a half years and faced many serious side effects.
I felt like I didn’t get much help with a proper aftercare plan of how to get back to where I wanted to be. For many the stress of treatment is life changing so it can be hard to try and just step back into the routine you had before you was ill.
When you have an illness like cancer your treated as a number and not an individual. So the main focus for the Dr’s was to get rid of the cancer no matter how it left the persons quality of life. All the rehab I have gone through has been private it hasn’t been cheap, I am well aware not everybody has the funds to experiment all of these things which is why I want to share the knowledge in the hope I can help others. Sometimes the answer is so simple and we just need to go back to basics.
When you have the knowledge to help others, share it!
