Common Cold Tips

A cold is a mild infection of the upper respiratory system, it usually lasts 1-2 weeks. The stronger your immune system at the time you get a virus the quicker you will be able to restore back to good health. This is why it’s so important to remain consistent with treating your body the right way.

  • Up your vegetable and fruit intake

  • Avoid dairy, eggs and too much meat

  • Avoid alcohol and caffein

  • Keep hydrated with plenty water (not cold)

  • Take hot showers

Peppermint | Echinacea | Nettle | Golden seal | Ginseng | Rosemary | Elder | Ginger | Vervain | Lemon grass

My personal remedy

Works best when taken 3 times a day as soon as you feel the cold coming on

1\2 a key lime juice

Tablespoon of pure honey

1/2 a sachet of ginger powder

1 grated garlic clove

Pinch of cayenne pepper (hot, use with caution)

Half a cup of hot water
